It's nice to meet you! My name is Maddie, and I'm a communications professional and culture journalist based in London.

My background is in trade journalism — I spent two years writing for The Global Legal Post, with more than 500 articles published in that time, followed by six months covering development finance. From there, I moved in‑house as an internal communications professional in London.

Alongside all of this, I started freelancing for 5'Eleven Magazine, eventually landing three print cover stories, including an interview with top model Mathilda Gvarliani. I now cover live music and pop culture for Noctis Magazine, where I've reviewed artists like Denzel Curry, ADÉLA, Balming Tiger, Greentea Peng, Westside Gunn and more. I've also covered London Fashion Week for two consecutive seasons, attending runway shows and presentations for both emerging and established designers.

Whether it's corporate comms or culture writing, the thread that runs through everything I do is an interest in how stories are shaped and how narratives are built. I love it when the two sides of what I do overlap, and I'm always open to new projects.
